EY is seeking a Custom Analytics & Solutions Associate to support its Africa Assurance Innovation and Digital team. In this role, you’ll combine problem solving, data analytics, development, and product management to deliver modern data science and analytical solutions for audit clients. You will collaborate with audit teams, data engineers, solution architects, analysts, and data scientists across Africa and globally to design or adapt solutions that enhance assurance processes. This role provides high visibility, career growth, and the opportunity to work across geographies and industries while contributing to EY’s global innovation network.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise, design, and deliver analytical solutions for audit clients
• Collaborate with specialists in automation, process mining, data delivery, and implementation
• Build and leverage a repertoire of reusable, standardised global data analytics solutions
• Stay current with EY digital tools and market developments, embedding them into client service
• Manage client and audit team relationships, supporting the delivery of innovative solutions
• Contribute to knowledge sharing across EY’s EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India & Africa) region
• Promote the use of analytics solutions across the Assurance business
• Support innovation projects and proactively seek learning opportunities

Qualifications

• Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or equivalent
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
